Job Responsibilities
- Leadership and Supervision: Lead, consult, and supervise staff in troubleshooting activities.
- Problem Management: Review, prevent, and consult on problems, including ad-hoc meetings with customers.
- Enterprise Systems: Demonstrate familiarity with enterprise systems and service monitoring tools.
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain various systems and security devices, such as Microsoft, VMware, O365, AWS, and Azure.
- Technical Support: Provide comprehensive support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Pressure Handling: Work efficiently under pressure, handling additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
Experience requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- Professional Background: Previous work experience as a System Engineer or a strong background in System Administration and Architecture.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft solutions, vSphere, vCenter, and Storage.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Proficient troubleshooting skills.
- Advantageous Experience: Experience with AWS, Office 365, and Airwatch will be advantageous.
- Microsoft Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, WSUS, Exchange, Office 365 administration, and troubleshooting.
- Operating Systems: Experience in administering and troubleshooting operating systems, including Windows client/server, Linux, and VMware.
- Antivirus Solutions: Experience with antivirus solutions like Symantec and Trend Micro, including administration and troubleshooting.
Education requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Certifications: MCSA/MCSE/AWS SysOps Administrator, CompTIA Security Plus (CompTIA Sec+).
